The First Corridor
Paul
nodded to Parrain who, still dressed in his white coat,
was setting up a large camera and flashpan. Then
Paul turned and walked down the passage to where
Audrey was motioning him. “Bolang, look at this.”
Audrey pointed to a huge block of black basalt in the
western wall of the passage.
“This blocks a set of
stone steps that leads straight from the surface to this
corridor. You can see the stair beams along the southern
side of the hole we dug. We were lucky to discover
this corridor so easily.
